The drawing was held between Case and an appointed representative of challenger Arthur Mac Littleton, who refused to participate in the tiebreaker. With both drawers attempting to get closest to 10, Case drew an eight, while Littleton’s appointed participant drew only a two. The mayor’s race ended June 2 with 144 votes for each candidate. Littleton has announced that he will challenge the results of the election. The drawing the break the tie was held Friday.
